Intensive Care
The Animal Health Care Center is equipped with state-of-the-art veterinary medical equipment to care for animals in need of intensive care. If a pet is suffering from a severe injury or disease, or recovering from a difficult surgical procedure, they will be continually monitored and kept as comfortable as possible in our intensive care unit. Vital signs will be monitored continually by our experienced staff, including heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels. Blood work will be performed as needed, and pain preventatives will be properly administered to keep them comfortable at this time.
Having a pet that is facing an injury or illness requiring intensive care is difficult, but Dr. Dunlap, Dr. Wood and their caring team have the experience and tools to give your furry family member the best opportunity for recovery. Call the Animal Health Care Center in the event your pet requires the extraordinary care provided by our veterinarians and staff.
