Dr. Jan A. Marion , DVM

Dr. Jan A. Marion is a recent addition to the staff at Animal Health Care Center. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued his education at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1967.

Dr. Marion has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 50 years and shows no signs of stopping. Throughout his early career, Dr. Marion gained experience at several veterinary hospitals before starting his own practice. In 1974, he built Marion’s Goose Creek Animal Clinic which he owned and operated until his retirement in 2020.

Dr. Marion has 7 children, 6 boys and one girl; he also has 13 grandchildren. His pet family consists of 2 dogs. Dr. Marion's hobbies include veterinary medicine and watching his kids and grandkids participate in sports and extracurricular activities.

Dr. Marion is available for appointments on Mondays, Wednesday afternoons, and Fridays.
